Escape to Tranquility: Relax and Recharge at Newton Grove Touring Caravan Site

Unwind amidst the rolling hills and charming villages of North Oxfordshire at Newton Grove, a private, quiet, and dog-friendly touring caravan site. Nestled on 1.8 acres of sloping land near the Cotswolds, South Newington's peaceful embrace awaits.

Immerse yourself in nature:

  • Picture-perfect setting: Wake up to the gentle murmur of birdsong surrounded by open fields and native woodland. Breathe in the fresh air and reconnect with the beauty of the countryside.

  • Explore charming surroundings: Discover the picturesque village of South Newington with its historic church and delightful pub. The Cotswolds, a haven for walkers and history buffs, lies just a stone's throw away.

  • Digital detox: Embrace the off-grid experience and escape the demands of technology. Recharge your batteries (literally, with occasional solar unit access) and rediscover the simple pleasures of nature.

Relax and unwind:

  • Choose your pitch: Opt for the convenience of a level hardstanding or the natural beauty of a spacious grass pitch, some with a picnic bench and firepit for alfresco dining.

  • Stay connected: Enjoy good mobile phone reception across all major networks. Share your memories with loved ones or stay informed as needed.

  • Flexible arrival: Let us know if you're running late – we'll do our best to accommodate you (within reason!).

Please note:

  • Embrace the simplicity: This is an off-grid site with no electric hook-up units (except for limited solar unit access). Silent generators are allowed with restrictions, but prioritize peaceful coexistence.

  • Basic amenities: While laundry facilities or on-site entertainment are absent, the neighbouring villages offer essential supplies and pubs.

  • A haven for relaxation: This site caters to those seeking a peaceful escape, not families seeking organized activities!

Ready for a tranquil escape? Visit our website info page for prices, pitch sizes, and booking information. Browse our CL Visitor Map to discover nearby attractions and hidden gems.

Come experience the magic of Newton Grove – where nature, tranquility, and rural charm intertwine.

Being just outside the village (which has no street lighting), benefits from a “Dark Sky” according to the CPRE Light Polution and Dark Skies map it has a NanoWatts/cm2/sr of 0.25-0.50 which according to their interactive map is the same as the two nearby "Dark Sky Discovery Sites (Milky Way class)".
