  • The Avenue going to Barford St Micheal was used in Three Men and a Little Lady 1987 for sheep flock scene along with Broughton Castle and Burton Dassett Hills

  • The RAF base at Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire was featured as Feldstadt, the US Air Force Base in Germany, for the Bond movie Octopussy 1983 and also the zombie film World War Z 2013
  • Cornwell Manor Nr Chipping Norton -  The Holiday 2006
  • In Oxford see the Tudor dining hall at Christ Church that inspired the Hogwarts Great Hall and the staircase that was used several times during the Harry Potter films.
    New College cloisters was also used as a location. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire the scene where Mad-Eye Moody turned Malfoy into a ferret and the Bodleian Library‘s Divinity School was featured as the Hogwarts infirmary.

Woodstock home to Blenheim Palace was in the 1950s comedy The Titfield Thunderbolt 1953.
  • Cogges Manor Farm, Witney featured in Downton Abbey as Yew Tree Farm also the Cotswold village of Bampton may look familiar along with Swinbrook  and Shilton
